Estimated salary for position is approximately $2,520 for teaching two lab sections.
The faculty member teaching PTP 752: Neurologic Examination and Practice I will be responsible for conducting labs and administering practical exams for this course. The expertise of the LEO faculty member will be utilized in meeting course objectives for modules related to the application of examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, application of physical therapy interventions, and outcome management of non-progressive diseases of the central nervous system acquired in adulthood. Preference is for one person to assist in both labs; however, assignment to an individual lab may be considered.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters wtih respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
Graduate of a CAPTE accredited (or equivalent) professional PT program.
Bachelor degree required.
Currently licensed or regulated in a U.S. jurisdiction as a Physical Therapist.
One year of full-time (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy or relevant content area.
Contemporary expertise in the application of physical therapy interventions, and outcome management of non-progressive diseases of the central nervous system, acquired in adulthood.
Master's degree or higher preferred.
Member of APTA preferred.
