The Physical Therapy Department at the University of Michigan-Flint is seeking applications for a tenure track (non tenured), 12 month faculty position as an assistant professor. Applicants must have clinical experience in acute care and interest in general and surgical conditions as it applies to Physical Therapy. This faculty member will teach primarily in the Professional (entry-level) Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (DPT) but could teach in the Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, Certificate and Residency Programs and/or PhD in Physical Therapy Program. Rank is commensurate with experience and academic credentials.

Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist and eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan, Graduate of a CAPTE (or its equivalent) Accredited Professional Preparation Program in Physical Therapy, Post-professional doctoral degree (DSc, EdD, PhD or ABD) required, Contemporary expertise in assigned teaching areas, Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and student assessment (clinical or academic), Teaching experience (clinical or academic), 12 months of full time (or equivalent) post licensure clinical experience, Demonstrated involvement and/or interest in scholarship, Evidence of professional activity
