Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is in search of a highly-skilled and experienced Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team of inter-disciplinary professionals. This position offers the right clinician a unique opportunity to combine clinical practice along with leadership within the SCI team. Collaboration with local universities’ DPT programs includes opportunity to mentor students and teach application of SCI evaluation and treatment.

Summary: Functions as a member of the clinical team, provides direct patient care and promotes effective and harmonious inter-disciplinary team functions through leadership, clinical supervision, and oversight of daily operations.
Essential Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Education, and Training Requirements): • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited Physical Therapy program. • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Michigan. • Minimum 4 years work experience in a relevant clinical rehabilitation setting. • Possesses and demonstrates expertise in Spinal Cord Injury Physical Therapy. • Possesses and maintains CPR certification to meet department/program protocol. • The physical ability to lift, position, and transport patients with physical impairments. • Demonstrates ability to supervise students.
Other Preferred Job Qualifications: • Experience with government reimbursement systems and other regulatory bodies related to service line.
